Forest Growth
The main tasks of the Expert Panel on Forest Growth are within the method development and quality assurance to ensure that the surveys reflect the current state of the art.
In addition, the Expert Panel facilitates exchange between its members and others. Furthermore, it provides data and expertise to a series of internal and external projects.
Currently, the members of the Expert Panel on Forest Growth are working on Manual revisions, data analysis, and script automatisation. In the field, they compare different automatic dendrometers to inform the members of any difficulties they might encounter and test UAV and remote sensing methods.
